Growing up in her Mother’s dressmaking business in London, gave Ann Christou the love of fabrics and good design. Ann nurtured her passion by attending the London College of Fashion.
Starting Rapsimo in the late seventies, in Adelaide and later a second Bridal Boutique in Sydney, the label has won numerous awards.
Today, she embraces her clients desires, channeling them through a whirlwind of creativity and turning them into unforgettable memories. Her haute-couture creations have a poetic feel and blend everlasting elegance with modernity and innovation.
The finest lace, the purest silks and the highest craftsmanship, make every one of her gowns a precious work of art, brought to life with the passion and the utmost respect of fine tailoring.
Rapsimo has extended their service to include a few European labels that are superb creations, to complement Ann’s own collection perfectly.

Head designer, Ann Christou and her talented team, have been making made-to-measure wedding dresses for over 40 years and you can see their experience and passion shining through in the gown designs.

Ann will create the perfect unique gown for each individual, with the bride able to choose fabrics, laces and detailing.
